SEFINN FOUR BUYING GUIDE

How to Choose the Right Chandelier Size

Use room dimensions, ceiling height and fixture drop together. These guidelines are a starting point; always confirm the specifications of the exact fixture before installation.
01

Start with room scale

For many rooms, a common starting point is to add the room length and width in feet; the result can be used as an approximate chandelier diameter in inches.

Example
12 ft + 14 ft room → about 26 in fixture diameter
02

Check ceiling height

Taller ceilings can carry longer fixtures. High-ceiling foyers and staircases need enough vertical presence to feel intentional without interfering with circulation or sightlines.

Prioritize
fixture body height + chain/cable + ceiling clearance
03

Plan the hanging position

Over a dining table, size and hanging height relate to the table. In open foyers or two-story spaces, consider how the chandelier reads from both floors.

Before ordering
measure floor-to-ceiling height and intended lowest point
